A user verifies itself when clicking the verification button in the corresponding email which is sent after completing the registration process.
If the user doesn't verify him- or herself, this can also be done by an admin with the following steps:
- Navigate to the users menu
- Find the desired user to verify either by filtering or search (note the chronological order of the list with the newest created profiles)
- If the user is an applicant:
- and click on the username
- In the admin links, click “CV settings”
- You will find the CV completion page with the CV state and the resume completeness. Note that “Job preferences” and “Personal information” are mandatory fields for the registration process and the others will be filled out afterwards by the applicant. It generally makes sense to verify an applicant if those two mandatory information are complete.
- In the CV state dropdown menu, select one of the following states:
- Unverified: The user has registered on the job board but hasn’t filled out any information or clicked the verification button in the corresponding email yet
- Incomplete: The user has verified itself but hasn’t filled out the mandatory fields yet
- Visible: The user has verified itself and has fill out the mandatory fields
- Hidden: The user has set it’s resume (or an admin) to hidden
-
- Click save
- If the user is a recruiter:
- Active: The verification link in the corresponding email has been clicked
- Blocked: The verification link in the corresponding email has not been clicked yet
An admin can set the status of a recruiter manually to blocked, which disables the recruiter to be able to login. The content will still be kept - Click edit at the very right of the user
- Find the two states:
Select the desired state and click save
