In addition to the default events and metrics tracked by GA4, additional custom events are configured for your GA4 property to get additional insights into how users are engaging with your job board.
Custom events and parameters
Custom events are triggered whenever a user performs a specific action on your job board. In addition to simply collecting the events (e.g. a “Job Visit”), additional parameters are passed along with the event (e.g. the parameter “Job ID” of the job for which the “Job Visit” event took place).
Below you can find an overview of the custom Jobiqo Analytics events, when they are triggered, as well as an example of parameters passed along with the “Job Visit” event. For a full overview of all events and their associated parameters, please refer to the Appendix of this guide.
Job Visit (jobVisit)
Triggered when a user views a job detail on the job search (split view) or the job detail page itself (single view).
