How can I create a Coupon?

Before a Coupon can be created, a discount reference needs to be created first. Please follow these steps to create a coupon:

  1. Navigate to the Discount page
    Path: Administration -> Store -> Discounts
  2. Click the "Add discount" button and enter:

    • The Admin title (this is only shown to you, and not customers)
    • Choose the discount type (Order or Product discount)
    • Add conditions (Total amount, Users, Products, Products and quantity or address)
      It is possible to add "AND" and/or "OR" conditions to discount. Please note, that there is no maximum limit to how many conditions can be added to a discount
    • Choose the offer type
    • If necessary, adapt Discount dates, Discount compatibility or Maximum usage 
  3. Save the discount
  4. Navigate to the coupon page
    Path: Administration -> Store -> Coupons
  5. Click the “Create Coupons” button and enter:
    • The coupon code to be entered at the job shopping checkout process to apply the coupon
    • The maximum amount of (valid) uses of the coupon. This number can be recharged by increasing the number again
    • The name of the discount which was previously created
    • Make sure that the “Active” checkbox is ticked and save the coupon. It is now valid for usage
  6. Save the coupon
